web exclusive: Playtime with Puppies

C.J Huffman, a freshman at Ohio University, gets licked by a dog during playtime with puppies on March 16,2009. The play time with puppies program is run by students at Ohio University. The event takes place on East Green at the end of every quarter. Dogs are brought from the Athens Dog Shelter for students to walk and play with for a few hours. The attendance by students almost doubled from the previous quarter with 320 students who showed up. The program also raised $138 from student donations to give to the shelter to buy dog food.
